When you make cuttings, the new plants become a copy of the mother plant from which the cutting comes. When the cuttings are placed in water, they form their own small roots before they are ready to be transferred to soil. The advantage of making cuttings in this holder is that you can lift the lid and follow how the roots develop.

When you are going to make cuttings in water, you put the cut branches into this smart container, and after a few weeks the new plants will form small roots. When the cuttings have got nice little roots, they are ready to be planted in a pot.

This cutting holder measures 15.4 x 10.4 x 7.5 cm, has 6 holes and thus space for 6 new small plants.
